this is a dog portrait i did for someone in canada. its his adorable little dog, a gift for his partner. he sent me a photo and i made this. it was fun

outdoor cinema.

i just made this poster for stonnington. actually they had more info to put in last minute so it changed a fair bit as far as info + text goes but they wanted to be able to do that themselves. so this is my version! i did all of the text by hand with ink and a thin brush, i am really getting into doing handmade typography. my bf has this really great book called handjob: a catalog of type its great for anyone thinking of getting a new book.

daylesford road trip.

last weekend we went to daylesford in victoria to look for wild berries and mushrooms. we found so many of both, but our mushroom book was rubbish and we couldnt identify anything! so we collected a few and brought them home to look up on the internet. turns out most of them are deadly, woops!
we went to some berry farms and little fruit stops on the side of the road and got ourselves the most delicious homemade jam, honey, and apples.

dear sydney.

My Friend Liz is having her first solo show 'A Found Place', at Art2Muse Gallery in Sydney opening on the 29th March and running until the 11th April.

i did a new logo for markit, the market at federation square. it's actually a really lovely market for people into their design and craft. you can check out their website for more details.

i just got some film back from my holidays. sometimes i think it's unfair to be inlove with someone who has to travel so often for work. but now when i look at these photos, well i dont care because it makes the time we have together so much more amazing.

hand drawn house

my sister Alice started her own screen printing & textile design business Hand Drawn House some time last year. her focus is on environmentally friendly, fair trade & certified organic textiles and products. she uses her own drawings & designs and screen prints everything in her studio!

she's having a stall at this weekends craft hatch, if you're in town you should come past to visit and check out all of her beautiful creations! she will be selling tea towels, pillow cases, stationary & more.

some things.....

firstly, thank you everyone for your generous bids on our artwork. all together the qld flood appeal auction raised $99,089! woah.

my sister grace is having an exhibition in melbourne, at mailbox 141 which is just in from the corner of russell st & flinders lane. it is running for a month. if you are in town at all you should definately check it out! its her first exibition and it is really beautiful. we had the opening earlier in the week here are a couple of photos!
